In April 2011, BridgeWorks negotiated the purchase of PrimeStar Solar by General Electric. Previously, BridgeWorks raised $7 million in private financing and negotiated more than $350 million in staged financing from the Renewables Division of GE Energy. Leveraging PrimeStar’s proprietary technology, GE will build the nation’s largest photovoltaic panel factory.
